Obituary for Nowlin

Roy A. (Bud) Nowlin was born in Aurora, NE on September 16, 1916 and passed away December 19, 1999. He retired from the USAF in 1968 as a Senior Master Sgt. after 27 years, while in the Air Force he served during WWII, Korean and Vietnam Wars. After retiring from the Air Force and moving to Albuquerque he worked for JC Penney Automotive and retired from there in 1982. He was a member of the Family Motor Coach Association and enjoyed Motor Homing with all three NM Chapters, The Chaparrals, Smokey Bears and Cuatro Estados. He is survived by his wife, Muriel of 53 years and one son, Gary and wife Joy and one grandson Gary II all of Allentown, PA. He was preceded in death by one son, Doug. Special thanks to the Alzheimer's Unit nurses and staff of Albuquerque Manor for his good care. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 23, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fern Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave SE.
