Obituary for Armijo

Mrs. Erminia (Minnie) Armijo, 86, born on July 25, 1913 in Anthony, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque for 60 years, passed away on Monday, December 20, 1999. Mrs. Armijo was preceded in death by her husband, William Armijo, and two sons, Bill and John Armijo. She is survived by one brother, Tomas Morales; two sons, Gilbert Armijo and wife, Graciel and Pete Armijo and wife, Mary; two daughters, Mary Ann Cordova and husband, Ray and Helen Gallegos and husband, Bob, all of Albuquerque; 28 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Armijo will be held on Thursday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leonard Armijo, Alfred Armijo, Anthony Armijo, John Armijo, Marcos Gallegos and Ruben Gallegos. Honorary pallbearers will be Val Armijo, David Gallegos and Roberta Cordova. A Rosary for Mrs. Armijo will be recited by Deacon Tibo Chavez on Wednesday evening, 7:00 p.m., at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
