Jane Smyth, 77, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, December 19,1999. She is survived by her cousins, Reid O. Kinne and wife, Linda of Newcastle, WA and Mariann L. Kay and husband, Dick of Eugene, WA; and sister-in-law, Patricia Macowan of Yakima, WA. Mrs. Smyth was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Dean Smyth; brother, Walter A. Macowan; and parents, John Murray Macowan and Lillian Kinne Macowan. She enjoyed needle art work and was commissioned to do work for the White House. Mrs. Smyth also enjoyed knitting and gardening. Cremation has taken place and memorial services are pending. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
