Blossom Frances Miyaki, a native of Chicago, IL, died on December 28, 1999 at her home in Albuquerque. She was a member of Camp Fire Boys and Girls where she was a child caregiver. She had assisted the local American Cancer Society and Multiple Sclerosis by her fund raising walks. She is survived by her children, Mike Miyaki of Highlands Ranch, CO, Doug Miyaki of Sunnyvale, CA, Lin Miyaki of Edgewood, NM, and Bruce Miyaki of Culver City, CA; a sister, Eleanor Stopka; nephew, Frank Stopka; nieces, Vikki Brier and Valori Kohler; grandchildren, Ben and Joey Miyaki and Sean, Chris and Craig Miyaki; and her beloved cats, Lindsay and Angel. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2000 in Chapel of Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd NE.
