Peggy Collaros, 51, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, December 24, 1999. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, George J. Collaros; daughters, Mary C. Collaros and Elizabeth A. Collaros; son, John S. Collaros; granddaughter, Cristina Z. Collaros, all of Albuquerque; stepfather, Marvin E. Anna of Lyons, CO; brother, Cliff Oxley and wife, Del of Beaver Falls, PA; extended family members, Harvey Gates and wife, Lou of Lyons, CO, Terry Anna of Ft. Collins, CO, and Jim Pickard and wife, Jerrie of Dillingham, AK; and the Collaros family, Sophie, Michael, Bessie ,and Joanne, all of Albuquerque. Mrs. Collaros was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church and the Philoptochos Society. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Trisagion will be held Tuesday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Father Mario Giannopoulos officiating. Services will be held Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 308 High St. SE, with Father Mario Giannopoulos officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Tuesday, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the St. George Greek Orthodox Memorial Fund, 308 High st. SE, 87102.
