Aron B. Griego, 68, a resident of Albuquerque since 1950, died Saturday, November 6, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lucy Griego of the family home; daughters, Geraldine P. Hernandez and husband, Anthony, Renee Anaya and husband, Henry all of Albuquerque, Rebecca Darby and husband, George of Rio Rancho; son, Richard S. Griego and wife, Sharon of Albuquerque; grandsons, Richard Stephen Griego Jr., Aaron D. Griego, Christopher Anaya, Zachary Anaya, and Anthony Hernandez, Jr., all of Albuquerque; granddaughters, Jessica Lynn Candelaria of Albuquerque and Jocelynn Darby of Rio Rancho; brother, Elfego Griego and wife, Virginia of Grants; sisters, Felia Chacon and husband, Milton of Albuquerque, Delmira Botello and husband, John of Wichita Falls, TX, and Barbara DeCosta and husband, John of Socorro, NM; special friends, Henry L. Anaya, Sr. and wife, Irene; and his favorite pet"his son Easy". A Prayer Service will be held Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. at the French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE with Pastor Abel Vega officiating. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, with Pastor Vega officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Salo Griego, Jr. Nathan Griego, Elfego Griego Jr., Dwayne DeCosta, Vincent Metzgar, and Charles Anaya. Honorary pallbeareres will be Henry Anaya, Sr., and Henry Millan. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Tuesday, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
