Mrs. Pauline Gallegos, 81, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on November 7, 1999. Mrs. Gallegos was the beloved mother of eight children, Christine Hastings, Ruth Gonzales and husband, Ben, Cora Chavez and husband, James, Medardo Gallegos Jr. and wife, Yvonne, Raymond Gallegos and wife, Mona, Dolores Ponce and husband, Raymond, Lawrence Gallegos and Margaret, and Martin Gallegos and wife, Connie. She is also survived by four sisters, Nina Garcia, Frances Chavez, Carmelita Baca and husband, Leonardo, and Maimie Otero and husband, Frank; 28 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Medardo, 1959; her parents, Dionicio Otero and Ramoncita Sanchez; son, William; brother, Ramon Otero; grandson, Martin Gallegos Jr.; sisters, Andrea Mora, Dulcie Doyle and Eduvigen Apodaca. Mrs. Gallegos was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening, 7:00 p.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 412 Stover Ave. SE, with viewing at the church after 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning, 9:30 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with final viewing at the church after 9:00 a.m. Father Paul Baca, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lawrence Gonzales, Carlos Sanchez, Paul Gallegos, Jesus Gallegos, Frank Gallegos and Adam Gallegos. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of arrangements.
