Nona Watson (Winona Joy Corley), 67, a retired educator and counselor, died October 29, 1999, in Escondido, California. Nona worked for more than 20 years with the Bloomfield School District in Bloomfield, New Mexico. She was born November 19, 1931, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Survivors include her husband, Cliff; ex-husband, Lee, sons; Danny, Joe, and Tim; daughter, Cricket (Ann); and six grandchildren, Toby, Samantha, Jessie, Kimiyo, Joey, and Jeremiah. A tribute will be held Saturday, November 6, 1999, 2:00 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Belen, New Mexico.
