Mrs. Sarah G. Kraus, 84, a resident of Albuquerque for 53 years, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 1999. Mrs. Kraus is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Robert (James) Kraus of Albuquerque; her son, Robert Kraus and wife, Judy of Albuquerque; her sister, Catherine Roberts of Washington, DC; her brother, Charles Garton and wife, Opal of Weston, WV; two sisters-in-law, Pat Garton and Jean Garton; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Kraus was preceded in death by her two brothers, Thomas and Joseph Garton. Sarah was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She was a member of St. Edwins Church. Visitation will be Wednesday morning, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m., in the St. Edwins Church, 2105 Barcelona SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 a.m. by Deacon J.O. Luna. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following the Rosary on Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. by Father Jose Hernandez. Private disposition will take place. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, Albuquerque, in charge of arrangements.
