Mrs. Oralia Chilimidos, 69, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on October 28, 1999. Mrs. Chilimidos is survived by her beloved husband of 11 years, Mr. Sam Chilimidos; seven daughters, Cecilia Gonzales and husband, Andres, Julia Sanchez and husband, Frank, Analee Maestas and husband, Ray, Rosemary Maestas, Carol Chavez and husband, Steve, Beverly Hobbs and husband, John and Vickie Sais and husband, Richard; two sons, Jose Erminio Nieto and Gerald Chilimidos and wife, Janet; 21 grandchildren, Andy Cecil and Matthew Gonzales, Leeann Lesperance, Diana, Julie, Raelene, Jesse and Fernando Maestas, Marisol, Francisco, Veronica and Marco-Antonio Sanchez, Megan and Geret Chilimidos, Micah, Stephanie, Simon and Renee Chavez, Amanda, Emily Rose Hobbs and Michela Sais; 11 great-grandchildren, Bradley and Desiree Lesperance, Julian, Jesse, Felix and Leandro Maestas, Brittney, Joshua, Christina, Albino and Francisco Gonzales; two sisters, Mary Romero and husband, Gabe and Flora Lovato and husband, Toby; six brothers, Pete Muller and wife, Gregorita, Evaristo Muller and wife, Angie, Eloy Muller and wife, Nancy, Albino Muller, Victor Muller and wife, Rosemary and Paul Muller and wife, Josie. She was a member of the Catholic Church, Women of the Word, St. Vincent de Paul, Lector and Usher at St. Edwins Catholic Church, Honorary Canossion Sister, RCIA at St. Edwins Church, volunteer, Dominican Retreat Center, volunteer, Docent Albuquerque Zoo, volunteer, APS Rio Grande Cluster Parent Center, and American Auxiliary Post 99. A Memorial Mass will be Thursday, November 4, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Edwins Church, 2105 Barcelona SW, Father Jose Hernandez, Celebrant. Interment will follow in the Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in her honor to"Spiritual Renewal Center" Home of the Dominican Sisters, Retreat Ministry, 2348 Pajarito Road SW, Ph# 877-4211.
