Obituary for Brown

Charles Hector Brown died peacefully at his home in Magdalena, NM, October 28, 1999. He was born November 12, 1922 in Alamo, NM to Charles and Bennie Brown. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Roger Kelly in May of this year. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; son, Clark Brown; and daughter, Elizabeth Kelly of Magdalena; daughters, Nancy Cortner and husband, Mark of Hagerman, NM, Marguerite Miller and husband, Howard of Milan, NM; sisters, Leota Frizzel of Albuquerque, Doris Yacuk of Thayer, ID, Ruby Brown of Santa Rosa, NM; also four grandchildren. Mr. Brown served in the Army during WWII and was a member of the Magdalena Lodge, F&AM. He was a salesman for the Charles Ilfield Co. and owned the Eagle Wholesale Co. in Magdalena.
