Mrs. Anna Maria C. Torres, 96, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on October 19, 1999. Mrs. Torres was the beloved mother of two daughters, Bernice Torrez and husband, Feliz V. (Phil) and Clory Gutierrez and husband, Johnny; six sons, Cipriano Torres and wife, Frances, Alejandro Torres, Candelario Torres and wife, Esperanza, Arturo Torres and wife, Jennie, Gilbert Torres and wife, Usula, and Jose Torres and wife, Gloria. She is also survived by one sister, Leonore Garcia; 35 grandchildren; many great and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Torres was a member of the Catholic Church and a member of the Legion of Mary. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday evening, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW, with visitation at the church after 6:30 p.m. Deacon Lorenzo Castillo, reciting. A Communion service will be held Thursday, 11:00 a.m., at Holy Rosary Church with final viewing at the church after 10:30 a.m. Deacon Lorenzo Castillo, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her six sons, Cipriano, Alejandro, Candelario, Arturo, Gilbert and Jose. Honorary will be Feliz V. Torrez and Johnny Gutierrez. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
