Mr. Diego Nieto died in Albuquerque at the age of 54. Mr. Nieto was a member of the Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Felix Nieto. He is survived by his mother, Benerita Nieto; brothers, Danny and Edward; and sisters, Lucy Lucero and husband, Meraldo, Priscilla Pickle and husband, Joe and Lillian Martinez and husband, Richard. Funeral services for Mr. Nieto will be held on Thursday at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the San Carlos Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clarence Lucero, Arthur Lucero, Steven Nieto, Ivan Martinez, David Nieto and Ernest Nieto. A Rosary for Mr. Nieto will be recited on Wednesday evening, 7:00 p.m., at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
