A Memorial service for Hazel Strelow will be held on October 23 at Christ the Ray of Hope Lutheran Church, 7001 San Antonio NE, at 2:30 p.m. Mrs. Strelow died on September 24 at the age of 91. Hazel was born on September 12, 1908 in Lone Wolf, Oklahoma. She married Clarence Strelow in Morenci, Arizona on June 29, 1929. She was a graduate of Arizona State University at Tempe. The family moved to Albuquerque in 1936, where Hazel worked as a substitute teacher before becoming a real estate agent. She was preceded in death by two brothers; and five sisters. She is survived by her son, Robert of Oakridge, OR; two granddaughters; and three great-granddaughters. Private interment was held at Sunset Memorial Mausoleum. The family suggests donations to Alzheimer research, in lieu of flowers.
