Alberto Bernal, age 70, died October 13, at his home in Albuquerque. He was born on February 9, 1929 in Tenaja. He was a long time resident of Albuquerque and a former resident of Maxwell where he was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. He is survived by his sisters, Elena Bernal, Virginia Kelly and Teresina Jean, all of Albuquerque, Viola Castillo and husband, Luciano of Palo Blanco; brothers, Antonio Daniel Bernal and wife, Nora of Los Lunas, Juan De Dios Bernal and wife, Lala of Springer; numerous nieces and nephews also survive. The Rosary will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Maxwell. The Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. with Father C. John Brasher as the celebrant. Arrangements for Alberto Bernal are under the direction of Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home in Raton.
