Rev. E. L. Freeman, 82, passed away at his home in Minden, LA, October 5, 1999. He is survived by Nona, his wife of 62 years; four children; 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Rev. Freeman preached for the United Pentecostal Church for 60 years, 41 of which were served in Africa as a missionary. He spent the last 17 years traveling the African continent, as Missionary Supervisor. He leaves a living legacy of many established churches, seven preacher grandsons, as well as a host of converts and friends.
