Obituary for Sanchez

Margarita DeLuna Sanchez, a resident of Alameda, passed away on Friday in Edgewood. She is survived by her husband, Salvador Sanchez of Alameda; two sons, Salvador Sanchez Jr. and wife, Connie of Bloomington, CA, Anthony Sanchez and wife, Mary of Albuquerque; two sisters, Erna Gurule and husband, Pat of Albuquerque, Sally Rangel and husband, Gilbert; and a special niece, Sadie Armijo of Albuquerque. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many friends. Her past 19 years were devoted to her husband as a loving wife and caretaker. She was a member of the Carmelitas and Alter Rosary Society. She was also a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated this morning, 11:00 a.m., at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Interment will follow at San Carlos Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Atilano Gallegos, Joe Gallegos, Eddie Martinez, Robert Gurule, Atonio Sanchez, and Frank Sanchez. Honorary pallbearers will be Ely Gonzalez, Larry Martinez, Ray Gurule, George Gurule, Matthew Espinosa, and Henry Sanchez. Services are entrusted to Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th Street, Norbert"Ray" Baldonado Jr.
