Obituary for Tafoya

Mr. Pat Tafoya died Thursday in Albuquerque at the age of 73. Mr. Tafoya was a World War II Army veteran and served in the Philippines Liberation with the 5th Calvary. He was preceded in death by his father, Ross Tafoya Sr.; mother, Emma A. Tafoya; and brothers, Louie Tafoya and Tony Tafoya. Mr. Tafoya is survived by his wife, Annie Tafoya; daughter, Mollie Vigil; brother, Ross Tafoya; in-laws, Juan Martinez and wife, Tillie, Lupe Trujillo and husband, Eddie, Moises Chavez and wife, Valentina; two special nephews, Eddie Trujillo Jr. and Dino Nieto; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services for Mr. Tafoya will be held on Monday at the St. Anne Catholic Church, where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Military Honors will be performed by the DAV Chapter 3. A Memorial Rosary will be recited on Sunday evening, 7:30 p.m., at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary.
