Mrs. Virginia Lucero died Thursday in Albuquerque at the age of 71. She is survived by her husband, Orlando Lucero; sons, Ron and wife, Darlene, Don and wife, Carol; sister, Lucy Garcia; grandchildren, Rochelle Lucero, Ronnie Lucero Jr., Vincent Lucero, Mathew Lucero, Ryan Lucero; great-grandson, Damon Lucero; niece, Ramona and husband, Richard Gomez; nephew, Manuel and wife, Debra Garcia; great-nephews, Robert and wife, Lynne Gomez, Anthony Garcia; great-nieces, Lucille Garcia, Romaine and husband, Paul Kohler, Samantha Garcia, Jacklyn Garcia; four great-great-grandnieces; four great-great-grandnephews; and her adopted family, Mark, Stephanie, Chase and Rowan; and several special friends. Funeral services for Mrs. Lucero are pending and will be announced at a later time. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Lucero Jr., Robert Gomez, Robert Baca, Randy Gutierrez, Audi Gutierrez and Eric Lucero. Honorary pallbearers will be Vincent Lucero, Matthew Lucero and Ryan Lucero, Herman Valdez and Paul Kohler. Visitation for Mrs. Lucero will be held on Monday, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Arrangements by the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
