Joseph L. Pecorella, age 85, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away early Friday morning in a local hospital after a brief illness. He was born on February 2, 1914 in Carnegie, PA, the son of Joseph and Pietrina Pecorella. He was married on May 30, 1936 to Charlotte Wise. Mr. Pecorella was a parishioner at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He is survived by his two sons, Joseph S. Pecorella of Tuckahoe, NY, and Robert F. Pecorella and wife, Melody Kellogg of Staten Island, NY; and one sister, Maria Pecorella of Rio Rancho. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today at 12:30 p.m., November 16, 1999, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
