Obituary for Dailey

Charlotte C. Dailey, 80, a 52 year resident of Albuquerque, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 13, 1999. She was born in Vandergrift, PA to Isaac Phillips and Cora Shearing Phillips and was the seventh of eight children. She married Phillip Dailey, her husband of nearly 57 years. They spent their early years in Los Alamos before moving to Albuquerque. Charlotte was a devoted mother and spouse with a great love for her home and yard. She traveled extensively with her husband in their RV, but especially loved the time spent in New Mexico's Jemez Mountains. She always found time for many activities including volunteer work for the Mended Hearts Association. She is survived by her husband, Phillip Dailey of Albuquerque; daughter, Donna Hammar and her husband, Mike of Halfway, OR; son, David Dailey and wife, Caron of Grove City, PA; brother, Edward Phillips of Leawood, KS; sister, Erma Berry of Harrisburg, PA; and eight grandchildren, Hans Hammar, Ned Hammar, Carla Hammar, Luke Hammar, Krystal Vasiakin, Julia Dailey, Trevor Dailey, and Brianna Dailey. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Thursday, November 18, 1999, 10:30 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Private interment of cremains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
