Obituary for Sedillo

Fernanda Sedillo, 92, beloved and devoted mother and grandmother, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 11, 1999. Ms. Sedillo was born in Socorro, NM to the late Tobivio Baca and Petra Baca; was a resident of Albuquerque; a parishioner of San Ignacio Catholic Church; and she enjoyed teaching crochet. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Vicki Sedillo. She is survived by her loving children, Joe Sedillo and wife, Florence, Jerry Sedillo and wife, Terri, Benji Sedillo and wife, Lydia, Alfonso Sedillo and wife, Judy, Saul Sedillo, Flora Villescas, Maggie Garcia, Tillie Lucero, Theresa Castillo and husband, Gilbert, Irene Martinez and husband, Raymond; 35 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Visitations will be Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary, located on the corner of 8th and Iron, where a Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, 10:00 a.m., at San Ignacio Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Funeral services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW.
