Julia P. Fernandez, 73, a resident of Albuquerque since 1963, died Thursday, February 25, 1999. She is survived by her husband, Roger Fernandez of Albuquerque; sons, Roger P. Fernandez of Albuquerque, Frankie Fernandez of Fresno, CA, Michael Fernandez and wife, Dorothy of Albuquerque; daughters, Margaret DuBois and husband, Dave of Ridgecrest, CA and Patricia Underwood of Waxahachie, TX; grandchildren, Yvette Fernandez, Crystal Fernandez, Cody Fernandez, Robin Fernandez, Elliott Fernandez, Ralph Fernandez and Andy DuBois, Alex DuBois, Adam DuBois, Amy Ihrig, Jason Underwood and Julie Underwood; two great-grandchildren; sister, Rose Frenkel of Las Vegas, NV; and many relatives and friends. Mrs. Fernandez was a member of the Candelaria Quilting Group. Services will be held Monday, 1:00 p.m. at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE Sunday 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
