Obituary for Didio

Andrew Frank Didio, 65, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away Friday, February 26, 1999. He was born September 10, 1933 in Flushing, NY to Frank James Didio and Amelia Becce Didio. Andrew was a veteran of the US Air Force and worked for many years as a salesman and manager. He resided in New York, Arizona, California, Oregon, Mexico and New Mexico during his life. He is survived by a son, Steven of Silverdale, WA; two daughters, Lisa Swanson of Deming, NM and Andrea Strand of Albuquerque; five grandchildren, Jaimie, Cameron, Justin, Jordan and Ryan. He is also survived by Jane Didio Nichols, the mother of his three children; and Angela Strempek, his companion of two years. The family would like to thank University Hospital for their tender and humane care. Memorial gifts may be given in his name to: Kidney Transplant Services, University Hospital, 2211 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 1, 3:00 p.m., at St. Josephs on the Rio Grande Church, 4020 St. Joseph Place, (located on St. Pius High School campus).
