Edwin"Pappy" Harvey Smith, 83, a resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, February 25, 1999. He is survived by his son, Michael Smith of Albuquerque; daughter, Janette Wiggins and husband, Clark of Albuquerque; and grandchildren, Jenny Smith, Michael"Rob" Smith, Mathew Smith and their mother, Lori Stamp, all of Jericho, VT, Jennifer Chavez, Shanna Chavez and Lucy Wiggins of Albuquerque; great-granddaughter, Jordon Andrea Smith. He was a 30 year Veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Smith retired after 11 years of working for The State of New Mexico E.S.C. Edwin was a member of Atlantic City Masons. He enjoyed gardening and loved cooking. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret L. Smith in 1997. Reception will be held Saturday, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
