Vonceil June Patrick passed away Saturday, February 20, 1999 after a brief illness. She was born February 4, 1932. Her daughter, Shirley Jean Harris, preceded her in death. June is survived by her loving sister, Leatha R. Jenkins of Albuquerque; two granddaughters, Vita Hawthorne-Jones of Baton Route, LA and Jennifer Seufert of Phoenix, AZ. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Jamal M. Hawthorne and Ashley Vonceil Hawthorne of Baton Route, LA; two nephews, Ernest L. Jenkins and wife, Sandra of Wilmington, DE and Richard K. Jenkins of Albuquerque; four great-nephews, Ernest L. Jenkins Jr. of Wilmington, DE, Jason A. Jenkins, Damion A Jenkins and Joshua D. Jenkins, all of Albuquerque; one great-great-niece, Janaya N. Jenkins; one great-great-nephew, Elijah Terrell Jenkins, both of Albuquerque; and many friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 23, 1999, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Cremation will follow. A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 25, 1999, 1:00 p.m., at Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, with Pastor Dennis G. Dunn officiating.
