Obituary for Koehl

Our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Frederick Koehl, age 88, passed away February 19, 1999. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Hickman, father Lewis Koehl; sisters, Margaret Mellon and Josephine Fallon; son, Lewis Koehl. Mr. Koehl was a member of the Queen of Angels Church and a World War II Veteran. He is survived by his loving wife, Rose; sons, Kenneth F. Koehl Sr. and wife, Nancy, Candido Garcia Jr. and wife, Theresa; daughters, Bobbette H. Griego and husband, Pat, Hazel A. Baca and husband, Archie; eight grandsons; eight granddaughters; 45 great-grandchildren; niece, Dorothy Laverty; nephew John Mellon. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitations will be held today from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. A rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. at Queen of Angels Church on 12th Street and Indian School Rd. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 9:30 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Archie S. Baca, Alex S. Baca, Kenneth F. Koehl Jr., Thomas Griego, Candido Garcia III, Donald Garcia, Edward Garcia, and Fred Garcia. Honorary bearers will be Ike Gutierrez, Candido Martinez, and Zeke Duran. Services are under the direction of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave., S.W.
