Kenneth W. Helling, born on February 28, 1916 in Madison, South Dakota, died on Tuesday, August 31, 1999 at the age of 83 after a long illness. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, September 4, 1999, with Father Renfroe officiating at Immaculate Conception Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW. Interment will follow in Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in the name of Kenneth W. Helling, The American Cancer Society/Cancer Research, 5810 Lomas Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87110. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, in charge of arrangements.
