Sosimo Gallegos, 70, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, was called home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 29, 1999. Mr. Gallegos was born in Tome, NM to Ricardo and Rosalia Gallegos; he was a resident of Albuquerque and a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Lucy Gallegos of the family home; his children, Richard Gallegos and wife, Chris, John Gallegos, Vincent Gallegos and wife, Fernie, Jeanette Padilla, James Gallegos and wife, Catherine; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Alex Gallegos and wife, Julia, Louis Gallegos and wife, Theresa, Adelicio Gallegos and wife, Margie; two sisters, Katy Lucero and husband, Ray, Helen Martinez; numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Visitations will be today, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary, on the corner of 8th and Iron, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church, with Fr. Jack Robinson Clark as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. For floral assistance, please call 243-5222.
