Obituary for Carpenter

Mr. Kevin G. Carpenter, 39, born February 7, 1960, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, August 26, 1999. Kevin was preceded in death by his father Lloyd Carpenter. He is survived by his loving wife, Kim Carpenter of Conchas Dam, NM; parents, Joe and Dori Hahn; stepsons, Kory Sauter and his fiancee, Maureen, and Lee Sauter; daughter, Shannon Carpenter; sister, Keri Hoganson and husband, Charlie"BIL"; brother, Cory Carpenter; mother-in-law, Lide W. Breeze"BAH"; sister-in-law, Kelly Ruggles; brother-in-laws, Barry Ruggles and wife, Debra, Bryan Ruggles and wife, Lisa; nieces, Nicole Hoganson and Amanda Ruggles; nephews, Kyle Hoganson, Matthew Carpenter, and Kyle Ruggles, all of Albuquerque who will miss Uncle Kevin dearly, also survived by many aunts, uncles, family, friends and loved ones. Kevin was most widely known in his active roll as vice president of Albuquerque Door Company for over 20 years. In that time Kevin was very active in the construction industry where he made many friends and colleagues that will miss him dearly. In 1995 Kevin and his father, Joe Hahn, sold Albuquerque Door Company after being in business for over 30 years. The family purchased the North Dock Marina at Conchas Lake State Park. As the new owners, Kim and Kevin planned a happy life together in their new business, where Kevin could continue fishing and hunting. The family would like to extend their gratitude to all family, friends and loved ones in our time of need. We all love you Kevin and are going to miss you, including Buddy. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 1, 1999 in the Chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle Blvd. NE. Followed immediately by interment in Sunset Memorial Park. Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE, are in charge of arrangements.
