Obituary for Youngblood

Margaret May (Tatum), 86, a resident of Albuquerque since 1972, passed away on August 14, 1999. Margie was born October 7, 1912, in Alamogordo, New Mexico, to James and Della Tatum, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her brother, Kenneth Tatum; and her sister, Dorothy Garretson. She is survived by her children, Dorothy Y. Cisneros of San Antonio, TX, Sandra Rice Youngblood of Phoenix, AZ, Nat H. Youngblood of Albuquerque; daughter-in-law, Martha Youngblood; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was a graduate of the University of New Mexico with a degree in Art. She was a member of the Albuquerque Garden Club, the American Association of University Women, and Sombra del Monte Christian Church. Margie was a kind and caring spirit who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 28 at Sombra del Monte Church, 2528 Utah Street NE. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.
