Annie Louise Sweeting, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since June 1993, passed away August 19, 1999 at 2:40 a.m. Annie was born June 16, 1916 to William and Annie Saunders, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are her three brothers, Roy, Raymond and Henry; a sister, Mary (Mamie) Van Dyke and her husband, Roosevelt Sweeting. Annie leaves behind to miss and mourn her passing, two daughters, Jean Rakestraw and husband, John of Albuquerque, and Oreather Sweeting and companion, Charles Sawyer of Mount Vernon, NY; two grandsons, Ryan Higgins of San Diego, CA and Kurt Woods of New York City, NY; five great-grandchildren; one niece, Valderline Hearn of Miami, FL; one adopted daughter, Helen Sturkey of San Diego, CA and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation for Annie will be Monday, August 23, 1999, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Hillcrest Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 24, 1999, 11:00 a.m., at Mt.
