Obituary for Dart

Le Rae Dart, 76, a resident of Albuquerque since 1956, died Friday, August 20, 1999. Mrs. Dart is survived by her husband of 55 years, David Dart of the family home; daughter, Sylvia Allen and husband, Eugene of Yuma, AZ; sons, Don Dart and wife, Junie of Albuquerque and Allen Dart and wife, Janet Chumbley of Tucson, AZ; granddaughter, Raeline Latimore and husband, Brian of Albuquerque; grandson, Ryan Dart and wife, Jatonne of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Lejuna Allen of Yuma, AZ; grandson, Aaron Allen of Yuma, AZ; grandson, Calvin Dart of Tucson, AZ; granddaughter, Flora Dart of Tucson, AZ; great-granddaughter, Bailey Latimore of Albuquerque; and sister, Evelyn Kilpatrick and husband, Cecil of Albuquerque. Mrs. Dart was born in Tuscola, TX, July 6, 1923. When she was three years of age her family moved to Petersburg, TX, where she lived until her marriage on February 5, 1944. She was a member of Heights Church of Christ. She met her husband, David, at a worship service in Abilene, TX, where both were attending college. Mrs. Dart was a school teacher for over 21 years with Albuquerque Public Schools and in Texas prior to that. Services will be held Monday, 10:30 a.m., at the French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Mr. Dee Lancaster officiating. Cremation will take place after services. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Sunday, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The family wishes to express their gratitude to all of our friends and fellow Christians for the support extended during La Rae's long illness.
