Shirley A. Klynott, a resident of Albuquerque for the past 23 years, passed away at her home on August 17, 1999 after a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, James of the family home; daughter, Rachel Klynott of Albuquerque; and a sister, Doris Devers of Pennsylvania; and numerous nieces and nephews in Pennsylvania and Virginia. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley G. and Margaret (Guest) Scheckler and a sister, Emily Whitehead. Born in Kingston, Pennsylvania, Shirley was educated in Edwardsville, Pennsylvania schools. Before moving to Albuquerque in 1976, the family lived in the Dover, New Jersey area for many years.
