Mr. Antonio M. Chavez, 90, a resident of Albuquerque passed away peacefully at home in the arms of his loving family on August 18, 1999. Mr. Chavez is survived by his three sons, Tony Baca, David Chavez and Ramona, Dominic Chavez and Maria; three daughters, Sandra Chavez and Felix, Grace Chavez and John and Rosemary War and husband, Sal; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Chavez was a member of the Catholic church, a musician, member of the D.A.V., V.F.W. and American Legion Post 122. A rosary will be recited Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. by Gloria Miera at St. Edwins Catholic Church, 2105 Barcelona S.W. with visitation after 6:30 p.m. at the church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edwins Church with final viewing at the church after 9:30 a.m. Father Anthony Bolman, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Sal War, Felix Abeyta, Dominic Chavez, John Martinez, Nathan War and Adam Abeyta. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW in charge of arrangements.
