Connie Eloisa Ortiz. Words cannot express the love, devotion, and joy Connie Eloisa Ortiz showered on her family. Connie passed away very peacefully Saturday morning, November 27, 1999, at St. Vincent Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, J. Willie Ortiz. She is survived by her mother, Flora Ortiz; her daughter, Deborah James Ortiz; her brother, Bobby Ortiz and wife, Eva and their children, Cynthia Coward, Roberta Murray, Denise Lujan, Sandra Ortiz, Geraldine Lugo, Ellie Ortiz and Sheila Romero; and several great-nieces and nephews. Connie also has several loving aunts and uncles, including Rosina Clayton, Reyes Sena, Donellia Roybal, Frank Ortiz, Reynaldo Ortiz, Isabel Quintana, Eddie Quintana, and Arturo Quintana. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m., Monday, November 29, at the Santuario de Guadalupe. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 30, at the Santuario de Guadalupe.
