Mrs. Bernarda"Margie" Marquez Tapia died Saturday in Albuquerque at the age of 63. Mrs. Marquez is survived by her father, Alfonso Canderon; mother, Lupe Calderon; sons, Raymond Tapia and wife, Anna and David Tapia; daughter, Debbie Romero and husband, Joe Luis; grandchildren, Lisa Magdaleno, Tina Martinez, Monique Tapia and Alejandra Tapia; and great-grandchildren, Mario, Deborah, James, Nikki, Hannibal, Adrien, and Mitchell Jr. Funeral services for Mrs. Marquez will be held on Wednesday at the Ascension Catholic Church, where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Pajarito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mitchell Martinez, Leroy Saavedra, Rudy Magdaleno, Irineo Villegas, Carlos Villegas and Lorenzo Sauceda. Honorary pallbearer will be Michael Sauceda. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., in the mortuary chapel. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday evening, 8:30 p.m., at the Ascension Catholic Church.
