Obituary for Kelley

Sam Kelley Jr., 87, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 28 years, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 1999. Sam was born on January 10, 1912 in Brazal, Mississippi, the son of Sam Sr. and Julius Freeman Kelley. He had worked for General Motors in Flint, Michigan before retiring and coming to New Mexico. Sam is survived by his son, Jessie Keller of Rio Rancho; one sister, Leatrice Cleveland of Flint, MI; two grandchildren, Craig Keller and Floraindo Berrough of Flint, MI; five great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren; three nieces, Joann Keller, Rita Ward, and Betty Clarke; two nephews, C. McClainton and Jesse Galleon, all of Flint, MI. There will be a graveside service held on Thursday, December 2, 1999, at Vista Verde Memorial Park, Sara Rd., at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho.
