Willie Clay"Billie" Wootres, age 99, resident of Albuquerque for 27 years, died November 25, 1999. She is survived by her son, Billy W. Wootres and wife, Vivian of Albuquerque; daughter-in-law, Olivia Wootres of Wales; grandchildren, Roberta Tarling of England, Christopher Wootres of Anchorage, AK, Cathay Wootres of Wales, Wanda Wootres of Albuquerque, Nelda Poes of El Paso, Texas; nine great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of Del Norte Baptist Church, a long time former member and Sunday School secretary of First Baptist Church, Las Vegas, NM, Ladies Auxiliary of the United Transportation Union, National Association of Retired and Veteran Railway Employees, Past Matron, Ransford Chapter #2 Order of the Eastern Star, Las Vegas, NM, past Mother Advisor, Las Vegas Assembly, Order of Rainbow for Girls, with Grand Cross of Color received in 1947, and White Shrine. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 28, 1999 from noon to 5:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 29, 1999 in the chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery and Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Baptist Children's Home, P.O.
