Maria Anna Pargas, 72, of Dumas, Texas died Tuesday, November 23, 1999. A Wake Service will be at 6:00 p.m. Friday in Boxwell Brothers Memorial Chapel, 500 Maddox. Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Richard Scully, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Dumas Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas. Miss Pargas was born in San Marcial, NM and had lived in Dumas for three years. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. She is survived by a daughter, Josie David of Dumas; 7 brothers, Ralph Pargas, Sr. of Albuquerque, NM, Emilio Pargas of San Antonio, NM, Luis Pargas of Mexicali, Mexico, Benny Pargas and Horacio Pargas, both of San Antonio, NM, Teofelio Pargas and Nat Pargas, both of Socorro, NM; a sister, Amalia Gonzales of Socorro, NM; son-in-law, Scott David of Dumas; grandson, Dereck David; and three granddaughters, Desarea David, Christie Baca and Jeanette White. The family will be at 1315 Binkley in Dumas
