Obituary for Clay

John Andural Clay, on September 8, 1999, John Andural Clay of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed into a more peaceful world. Born in Roxboro, North Carolina on December 7, 1946. He is survived by his loving wife, Lavina Clay; his two sons, Michael and Lawrence; and his father, John D. Clay; his mother, Gertrude James Clay, preceded him in death. John was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of the Army Special Forces, 82nd Airborne. In everything, whether it was work or his country's call to duty, he served with pride. John was an employee of Sandia National Laboratory for 20 years. John was a strong pillar of support for the family, and was especially proud of his two sons's accomplishments. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 1999 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 300 Mildred Ave. NW, on 4th St., south of Candelaria. A memorial Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 1999 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11402 Indian School Rd. NE, west of Juan Tabo, with Fr.
