Dora A. Sanchez, born January 15, 1951, passed away on Monday, September 6, 1999 at the age of 48. She was preceded in death by husband, Rudy Sanchez; mother, Estella; father, Louis Gonzales; and two brothers, Pete and Tony Gonzales. Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her daughter, Charmaine Sanchez; sisters, Mary Sandoval and husband, Florencio, Gloria Castillo and husband, Paul, and Marcy Medeiros of California; brothers, Pat Gonzales and wife, Frances and Toby Gonzales and wife, Alice; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mrs. Sanchez will be held on Friday at the San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, where the Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Sandia Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Junior Sandoval, Jose Gavaldon, Peter Medeiros, Antonio Perea, Joe Sanchez and Andy Gonzales. Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Sandoval and Patrick Gonzales. Visitation for Mrs. Sanchez will be held on Thursday, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., in the mortuary chapel. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday evening, 7:00 p.m., at the Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. SW.
