Billy Rae Abbott Jr., 34, a resident of Albuquerque, died Saturday, September 4, 1999. Mr. Abbott is survived by his daughters, Mary Elizabeth Abbott and Katherine Abbott, both of Albuquerque; parents, Bill and Dorothy Abbott of Cheyenne, WY; brothers, John Abbott of Albuquerque and Michael Abbott of Denver, CO; sisters, Cheryl Mayfield of No. Platte, NE, Billie Jane Mallon of Cheyenne, WY and Lori Ann Atencio of Phoenix, AZ; grandmother, Cecilia Cruz of Albuquerque; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 1:00 p.m., at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas at Tennessee, with Father Luis Jaramillo, Celebrant. Interment will take place in Cheyenne, WY. Pallbearers will be Bill R. Abbott Sr., Michael Abbott, John Abbott, Glen Mayfield, John W. Mallon, John J. Mallon and Richard Cruz as an alternate. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
