Obituary for Hansen

Vincent Wilfred Hansen, 76, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, August 31, 1999. He is survived by his brother, Joseph Hansen of Willmar, MN; nieces, Belinda Hansen, Rebecca Hansen, Christine Shoesmith and Laurel Taylor; and nephews, Gregory Hansen, Mark Hansen and Michael Hansen. He was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Hansen; and sister, Margaret Hansen. Mr. Hansen was born on September 9, 1922 in Lake City, MN. His parents were Emanuel S. Hansen and Mary Adeline Isabel Crusoe. He served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. Mr. Hansen worked at Sandia Laboratories as a designer of electronic equipment from 1949 until his retirement in 1988. He was a longtime amateur radio operator and enjoyed flying his own airplane. Mr. Hansen was a lifelong Catholic and was active in Our Lady of the Annunciation Catholic Church. Services will be held Thursday, 11:00 a.m., at Gate of Heaven Chapel, 7500 Paseo Del Norte NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
