Mrs. Ida H. Giron, 82, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving family on September 5, 1999. Mrs. Giron is survived by her daughter, Mary Garcia and husband, Ramon; her son, Don Giron and wife, Reyna; one sister, Mary Aragon; two brothers, Gilbert Herrera and wife, Duvy and Diego Herrera and wife, Edith; two grandchildren, Donna Lujan and Kenneth Lujan; two great-grandchildren, Danny Ray Lujan and Eloy Ray Lujan; special niece, Geri Ramirez and husband, Jesse; special friend, Beatrice Garcia and husband, Robert; many nieces, nephews, cousins and Christian brothers and sisters. A Christian Funeral service will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, with visitation after 9:00 a.m. Pastor Gustavo Mendez officiating. Interment will follow at the San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Lujan, Kenneth Lujan, Ramon Garcia, Joe Herrera, Leonard Herrera and Jesse Ramirez. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
