Adelina Chavez, 88, a resident of Albuquerque for 57 years, died Thursday, October 7, 1999. She is survived by her children; step-children; grandchildren; great-grandchild; great-great-grandchildren; sister, Pita Amestoy; and sister-in-law, Gregorita McKinley and husband, Isidro. Rosary will be recited Sunday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Mass will be celebrated Monday, 10:00 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont NE, with Father Johnny Lee Chavez, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Chavez, Greg Chavez, Bobby Chavez, Edward Chavez, John Baca and Michael Velarde. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
