De La Stella E. De La Plain, 80, a resident of Albuquerque for 41 years, since November 1958, died Tuesday, October 5, 1999. She is survived by her sons, Gilbert De La Plain and wife, Gail of Edgewood and Charles De La Plain and wife, Alberta of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Gina De La Plain of Edgewood; step-grandson, Neal Mitchell of Japan; and brothers, Gilbert G. Lady of Springfield, MO and Milford Lady and wife, Evelyn of Bay St. Louis, MS. Mrs. De La Plain was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry De La Plain. She was a member of Heights First Church of the Nazarene. Memorial services will be held Thursday, 10:30 a.m., at Heights First Church of the Nazarene, 8401 Paseo del Norte NE, with Dr. Glen Chaffee officiating. Graveside services will take place at New Hope Cemetery, Peace Valley, MO. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
