Mr. Cresenio O. Gonzales, 82, a resident of Bernalillo, passed away on October 1, 1999. Mr. Gonzales is survived by Rafelita Unale and her family, Mary Agnes Delgado and husband, Armando, Dolores Vargas and husband, Francisco, Jose Unale and wife, Evelyn, Sarah Unale and Patrick Romero. Mr. Gonzales is also survived by three daughters; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends. He was very much loved and was always ready to listen and lend a helping hand. He was very joyful and had a great sense of humor. We will miss him and will never forget the wonderful man he was. We love you Chris. May you rest in peace-your niece, Mary Tarin Rome. Mr. Gonzales was a member of the Catholic Church, a veteran of the U.S. Army-Air Force, serving in WWII, and a past member of the American Legion. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening, 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, in Bernalillo, with visitation at the church after 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning, 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, with final viewing at the church after 10:30 a.m. Pallbearers will be Patrick Romero, Roman Velardi, Lorenzo Perez, Anthony Martinez, Elias Unale and Eddie Trujillo. Private disposition will take place. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of arrangements.
