Stephen Lambert Atwood, age 53, of Paradise Valley, passed away on September 27, 1999, results of a rafting accident. Mr. Atwood was in Army National Guard and an owner of an advertising agency. He loved river rafting, and his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Nanci; and daughter, Sarah; one brother, James Atwood of Albuquerque. Memorial service will be Friday, October 1, 1999, 5:00 p.m., at the Kilgore Chapel-Valley Presbyterian Church, 6947 E. McDonald Drive, Paradise Valley. Family suggests donations to Arizona Human Society, 9226 N. 13th Avenue, Phoenix. Assisting the family is Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
