Mrs. Viola S. Padilla died Tuesday in Albuquerque at the age of 63. Mrs. Padilla was a member of the Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Juan Felipe Padilla of the family home; sons, Leroy Padilla of Albuquerque, Phillip Padilla Jr. of Sandia Park, Robert Padilla and wife, Celeste, Manuel Padilla and wife, Veronica, and Michael Padilla and wife, Eva, all of Albuquerque; daughter, Josie P. Chavez of Moriarty; brother, Eusebio Sanchez of Reno, NV; and ten grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Padilla will be held on Friday at the Mt. Carmel Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 p.m. Burial will take place at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Leroy Padilla, Phillip Padilla Jr., Robert Padilla, Manuel Padilla, Michael Padilla, and Aaron Chavez. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Chavez, Michael A. Padilla and Ryan Morgan. A Rosary for Mrs. Padilla will be recited on Thursday evening, 7:00 p.m., at the Mt. Carmel Church. The family requests no floral arrangements.
